Cellular biology
Experts in cell differentiation, reprogramming, animal disease modeling and brain transplantation will recapitulate the properties and functionality of different brain cell types, to better study neurodegenerative disease and achieve the reconstructed brain.
Tissue engineering
To develop scaffolds that restore, maintain, or improve neuronal damaged tissue, our experts will work on tissue decellularization/recellularization, develop specific bioinks and performed next generation3D bioprinting.
Optogenetics
Through selective beam light, experts in optogenetics will be able to reversible manipulate brain cells to improve their connectivity after implantation in the host brain.
